Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Senior Manager, Book Data Operations to contribute to our team in our La Vergne, TN office. In this role, you will establish and execute the strategic plan for the Catalog Services business. Leading our Catalog Operations team, you will develop, implement, and manage catalog processes and services for publishers using the Lightning Source and IngramSpark platforms. The Sr. Manager of Catalog Operations will identify and scope new catalog products and services for publishers, authors, and Ingram Content Group. Additionally, you will develop and maintain communications across internal business lines, as well as with relevant external parties. You will partner with Ingram’s Commercial and Digital teams to minimize fraud and infringement, both within the catalog and as part of the account set up process and communicate with partners about incidents. Finally, this person will lead the organization in global best practices concerning title data and catalog information.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or year-for-year equivalent experience
- 7 years publishing related services or equivalent experience in data technology, metadata, product catalog systems
- 3 years of people management experience
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with copywriting and intellectual property rights
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifies, develops, and implements catalog integrity and fraud mitigation requirements and improvements; partnering with internal stakeholders (Sales, IT, LS Operations, Marketing, Finance, Commercial, Digital) on a global scale as needed.
- Develops internal and external best practices guidelines for catalog products and services
- Creates a best in class catalog feed to optimize market visibility;to include feeds coming into our system from content creators, the communication of data between internal systems, and the application of data enhancements prior to the catalog going to market.
- Maintains knowledge of industry standards in metadata best practices and explores ways for Ingram to be at the forefront of standards development
- Provides thought leadership on metadata practices to our authors, publishers, and channel partners
- Troubleshoots and resolves catalog feed issues in a timely fashion; partnering with the Commercial data teams when needed.
