Job Description

·         Ability to run and machine learning algorithms using Python

·         Strong knowledge of statistical concepts including hypothesis testing, regression, correlation, covariance

·         Forecasting techniques such as ARIMA, SARIMA, Exponential Smoothening, State – Space Models, etc.

·         Understanding of model evaluation metrics to compare multiple models (Confusion matrix, F1 Score, MAPE etc.)

·         Knowledge of cross validation techniques in forecast models. Also, knowledge of data preparation libraries such as TS Outliers, etc

·         Strong knowledge of R/Python for running Data Science forecasting models and working knowledge of SQL

·         In depth understanding of Machine learning techniques and advanced statistical techniques Logistic regression, Support Vector Machines, Random Forest,

·         Extract, combine and clean data from several sources for model building

Desired Skills:

·         Ability to work in machine learning algorithms in R/Python and associated packages in for data science and forecasting

·         Strong Analytical/Quantitative/Statistical skills

·         Good at conceptualization and execution of projects

·         Proactive approach to problem resolution, suggesting alternate solutions

·         Be able to work under tight deadlines & pressure without compromising on quality

·         Good communication and Strong Interpersonal Skills

Good to have:

·         Knowledge of deep learning techniques feed forward networks, back propagation, regularization

Understanding of CNN, RNNs and LSTMs and their applications a value add
