Job Description

This role is to be specialist in creating a data analytics infrastructure to enable the data analysts and data scientists in CHNW Products. 

This role will lead the design of data architecture for the analytics environment to enable the development of data products, as well as design and develop the data products that are most efficient in terms of compute, storage, and accessibility for the consumption by data analytics teams and enablement of data driven digital solutions. 

This role is expected to lead the conversation with internal Data Platforms as well as external Cloud providers establish data environments that is resilient, reliable, and fit for purpose; and it is expected to solution for data compliance and data security as well.

The role is expected to resolve to simplify the legacy landscape embark on a journey for data cloud migration and represent CHNW Product business to work with internal Data Platforms and external Cloud providers from milestone to milestone. 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Type of Qualification: Post Graduate Degree is advantageous 
Field of Study: Mathematical Sciences/Actuarial Science, Computer ScienceOther Minimum Qualifications, Certifications or Professional Memberships: Honours’s degree in Actuarial Science / Computer Science/Mathematical Sciences or related field ,Azure or AWS certification 

Experience Required
Technology
Engineering (includes Cloud and Resilience)
Minimum of 7 years experience in SAS or SQL;R, Python, PowerBI, Google Analytics, AWS Data Analytics, Azure Data Analytics. Data Management,  Analysis and Design- Experience of programming in SQL, structured query language, and other common programming languages.
