Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as coding and technical data engineering expert
  • Drive agile-based execution of data engineering deliverables
  • Design, develop, validate, implement, maintain, monitor, document, and own end-to-end data engineering solutions
  • Automate collection, persistence, processing, and reporting of data from internal and external platforms and data sources
  • Develop and own API integrations to various external platforms towards getting data daily
  • Work across cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, and Azure) and associated services
  • Drive with a sense of urgency to meet internal and external stakeholders expectations and timelines
  • Follow and enhance data engineering best practices
  • Orchestrate a complex ask or requirement into logical set of deliverables
  • Pioneer – data accuracy and optimizing data engineering pipelines (e.g. code, queries, schema, processes, infrastructure usage, etc.)
  • Collaborate, communicate, and present across teams and meet organizational goals
  • Guide and supervise products and processes developed by senior and junior data engineers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in technical field; other fields considered with adequate experience and relevant certifications
  • At least 4 plus years of data engineering experience
  • SQL and Python expert
  • Hands-on data engineering experience working with common cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) and associated services
  • Some experience working with Google Cloud Platform (BiqQuery, Cloud Function, etc.) and AWS (Redshift, Lambda, etc.) is a plus
  • Some experience developing API integrations to external platforms for getting data is a plus
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter with strong ability to multitask projects/tasks effectively
  • Digital media experience, particularly experience working in ad tech industry with a data-centric role is a plus

Compensation Range: $81,500 - $137,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
