Senior Data Analyst

Position: Senior Data Analyst – Telecommute Opportunity

Improve the team's productivity and increase the speed of analytics through automated data analytics. Develop data analytics automation using programming languages R and Python. Improve performance and enhance the development of the cloud-based Asset Intelligence System. Provide relational database expertise to construct and execute SQL queries to be used in data analysis activities. Provide expertise and translate the business needs to design, and develop tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization with Power BI. Respond to data and product-related inquiries in real-time to support business and customer teams. Assist database developers with the improvement of the backend data platform to warehouse all customer finance data. May telecommute from any location in the U.S.

Requirements

This position requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Must have Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification and certification in any Business Intelligence software (e.g., Tableau or Power BI) and 1 year of related experience. Must also have demonstrated experience with each of the following: 1) MS PowerBI, DAX, and Power Queries; 2) Data mining and data analytics with R & Python; 3) Writing SQL queries & creating tables in SQL database; and 4) MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Will accept experience gained before, during, or after Master’s program. Will accept experience gained concurrently. Full-time telecommute position.
