Data Scientist

Role Purpose:

The position is part of Jumio's BI team based in Jaipur, India. As an individual contributor, you will get the chance to work with in an international organization as part of a great team where each and every member’s opinion matters. We have offices in Palo Alto, London, Montreal, Vienna, Singapore, Linz, Jaipur and Udaipur.

Role Value:

The person should be able to work mostly independently, and only need direction and feedback from the team manager when necessary. Utilizes independent judgment when determining methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria. The team manager gives directions and provides answers.

Expertise - Essential Skills:

• Good experience of Python programming and understanding of libraries like Pandas, Numpy, Scipy etc.
• Should have deep data analysis and problem-solving ability.
• Experience in Tkinter interface.
• Good understanding of Django and flask framework.
• Familiarity with Azure and REST API.
• Selenium and SQL knowledge is plus.
• Build automated reports and dashboards with the help of Power BI and other reporting tools.
• Should be familiar to write the DAX and M queries.
• Experience in gateway connection for data refreshing

Must Have:

The one who has knowledge about Python programming. Who knows the basics about Azure, REST API etc.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 to 6 years’ experience
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a strong analytical/QA mindset.
• Knowledge of Python programming and Power BI and other reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Web technologies (e.g. Azure and REST API, SQL) is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy working in a multicultural and geographically diverse organization.
• Available for standby hours when required.
