Job Description

Vericast is seeking for a motivated SQL/ETL developer to build data flow processes, campaign automations, and support and maintain existing campaign workflows. The Marketing Database Team is responsible for developing and implementing applications and workflows to support our leading products.

This position is a perfect fit for someone who really likes to work in an agile team and to contribute their skills for building high quality data-driven marketing applications, working collaboratively with other developers and business partners.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, and automate manual processes.
• Work with internal business customers to understand business requirements and use cases.
• Build, troubleshoot, and maintain processes supporting data transformation, campaign workflows, and data processing pipelines.
• Perform root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide production support for existing data flow processes.

Qualifications

•  2+ Years with Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years equivalent work experience.
• Experience with SQL development, tuning, and debugging; as well as working familiarity with a variety of RDBMS.
• Experience with building new, troubleshooting, and modifying existing ETL/ELT processes using tools like SSIS, Informatica or DataStage. Preferably Talend or RedPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders.
• Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages (Preferred)
• Good to have experience using BI/reporting tools like Tableau, SSRS, etc.

Additional Information

Salary:  70000 - 80,000

The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
