Job Description

Responsible for managing a team of junior data analytic analysts across a variety of data, processing capabilities and technologies in order to deliver high quality analytics and insight to inform Client Solution’s and the Group Strategy.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Type of Qualification: Post Graduate Degree
Field of Study: Information Studies
Other Minimum Qualifications, Certifications or Professional Memberships: BSc Comp Science, B.Com Informatics, Certificate in a programming language or cloud computing.

Experience Required
Technology
Minimum of 5 years experience  in working with unstructured data(e.g. Streams, images)Understanding of dataflows, data architecture, ETL and processing of structured and unstructured data. Using data mining to discover new patterns from large datasets. Implement standard and proprietary algorithms for handling and processing data. Experience with common data science toolkits, such as SAS, SQL, Python or R. Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI and QlikView.
