As our new Senior Data Engineer, you will: 

  • Be part of our Data & Analytics team helping us to build a platform that unifies the data and business rules from all our products around the world, using innovative approaches and technologies in the market. 
  • This is an opportunity for you to create, drive and implement high-impact initiatives in a fast-growing business. We make things happen and we know how important they are – to our customers and the world. 
  • Work on the data integration of various platforms and products; 
  • Contribute to data pipelines development, performance, quality, monitoring, and maintenance;
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in our products/business with the use of data; 
  • Lead data engineering projects; 
  • Support to leadership, being a technical reference for the team; 
  • Advocate for data engineering best practices inside the team; 
  • Ensure data lake governance; 

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge in software development (e.g.: Python, Git, CI/CD, Docker); 
  • Experience with SQL to query data and build ETLs; 
  • Experience working with data lake and data warehouse, using best practices to structure and store big volumes of data; 
  • Experience in data pipeline creation/orchestration tools (e.g.: Airflow, Luigi); 
  • Cloud experience (e.g.: GCP or AWS); 
  • Advanced English.
