Job Description

Experian Automotive is searching for a talented Senior QA analyst who will be a key contributor to the team. The Senior QA analyst will maintain a high bar for quality of our products. This candidate will possess a strong analytical mind, be a technical and creative thinker, have a strong aptitude for problem solving, and have zero tolerance for quality deficiency. The ideal candidate will have excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, along with the fervent desire to continuously learn about different products and technologies. You will be working closely with data and analyzing it using manual and automation techniques. The QA Analyst works closely with developers, Product and Project managers in the delivery of error-free data to assure customer satisfaction with data accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards. The ability to understand and analyze complex data is essential.

  • Understand QA methodology and full life cycle of data processing from acquisition to integration to extraction
  • Define QA approach and understand end to end process/ data flow
  • Profile data; determine trends, patterns, inconsistencies; draw conclusions
  • Identify code issues and communicate effectively to have quick turnaround in code for retest
  • Work effectively with cross-functional development teams to help establish and enforce data quality standards and documentation.
  • Work with team to follow system test plans, ensure software quality assurance standards are achieved, and validate that business goals are accomplished.
  • Experience in Data transformation logic QA, SQL, Unix/ Linux.
  • Experience in data automation using SAS, Unix Shell Scripting
  • Experience with Tableau or any BI reporting tool
  • DB2, SQL Server or any database experience
  • Develop and further maintain and improve backend automated tests.
  • Ability to manage complex tasks in a rapidly changing production like environment, excellent time management and organization skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Identify and implement improvements in QA processes as needed
  • Identity key performance metrics to evaluate and provide information on data

Qualifications

We are seeking highly motivated individual with a consistent record of professional and personal achievement. Creativity, initiative, resourcefulness, and an entrepreneurial spirit are a must, in addition to the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of professional experience, including at least 4 years in data analysis and/or data quality assurance review
