This position, based in the Philippines, is a growth role to our high performing Commercial Operations (CommOps) team. Although working remotely, you'll be part of an engaged, high-performing and driven Sales and Marketing Operations team based in Australia.

Reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager, you will be a key member of the Marketing Operations team, which comprises Commercial Analysts aligned to different go-to-market specialists. You will partner closely with Marketing to manage prospect and customer data and provide support that drives strategic, tactical and commercial objectives in the market.

The Data Analyst will also be responsible for executing data-driven initiatives to maximise the efficiency of marketing campaigns. They will work closely with operations managers to support them with all aspects of database maintenance and manipulations and marketing campaigns. They help document processes for data flows to ensure steps are repeatable.

To be successful, you will need to get deep into (sometimes ambiguous) data so that you can understand the business thoroughly, rapidly diagnose issues and formulate solutions. First Principles Thinking, intellectual curiosity, and a bias for action are essential.


Responsibilities

  • Process Improvements and Documentation
    • Capture marketing department processes and workflows to ensure efficiency
    • Work with the technical teams to ensure system modifications conform with the requirements specified by the stakeholders.
  • Admin and database management
    • Database update and cleansing
    • Creating scalable systems to maintain the health of our marketing databases to ensure their usability and reliability
    • Maintain hygienic email lists and develop customer segments to support a robust targeting and personalization strategy.
    • Support daily operations in our marketing operation systems including Marketo, Bizible, Tableau and Salesforce
  • Campaign Management
    • Work with a team to execute marketing campaign plans, and ensure campaigns launch on time and run smoothly.
    • Build campaign automation; develop appropriate workflows, forms, and other automation, in support of marketing team's goals and objectives.
    • Import leads and helping execute lead flows form offline campaigns
  • Reporting
    • Helping to build reports and dashboards in Salesforce
    • Executing end of month reporting
    • Confirming new months targets and updating relevant dashboard

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of prior database management experience within technology companies/startups/marketing agencies
  • Ability to drive business insights, bring a quantitative, data-driven mindset, and have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ideally prior experience with Salesforce Salescloud, Bizible or Marketo
  • Comfortable using Excel or GoogleSheets to manage and analyse large data sets
  • Ability to read and write in SQL desirable
  • Possesses strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate proactively with peers, managers, and leadership on plans, progress, and challenges
  • Enjoy documenting (and improving!) operational processes
  • Are a go-getter. You take responsibility and run with it!
  • Open to embrace new challenges and are not afraid to teach yourself new things
  • Thrive in unstructured environments and use that flexibility to your advantage
  • Ideal but not essential: Experience with data analysis, segmentation, visualisation and reporting
