Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our growing business analytics team. The Data Engineer will be responsible for managing our data infrastructure, including Snowflake and Fivetran, and creating APIs to integrate with Snowflake. This individual should have a strong background in data management, with a focus on designing and building scalable data pipelines. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the data infrastructure, including Snowflake and Fivetran
• Design and build scalable data pipelines to support the needs of the business
• Write APIs to integrate with Snowflake and other data systems
• Optimize data pipelines for performance and efficiency
• Troubleshoot and debug data issues as they arise
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role
• Experience with Snowflake and Fivetran, or similar data management tools - Must
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling principles
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or Java
• Experience with BI & data visualization tools (e.g. Domo)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) is a plus
