Job Description

As the Data Analyst, you will be responsible for building the next generation of visualization solutions while working with internal stakeholders, data engineers, data analysts, product owners, and other technologists across one multiple subject areas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the process of visualizing data from multiple sources and lead our business in making data driven decisions.

  • Developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions.
  • Boost effectiveness of marketing spends, increase efficiency in marketing asset production and otherwise add value to Marketing & Production with data insights and tools that spotlight opportunities and inspire business improvements
  • Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.
  • Reviewing and improving existing systems and collaborating with teams to integrate new systems.
  • Conducting unit tests and developing database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues.
  • The developer will create powerful dashboards, data source, create action filters, parameters and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau.
  • This role will also design and implement processes and standards to aid in report development and support.
  • Hands on with Tableau Desktop (dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management)
  • Fine-tuned SQL Queries for maximum efficiency and performance.
  • Reviewing and improving existing systems and collaborating with teams to integrate new systems.
  • Creating visualizations for the data extracted with the help of Tableau
  • Finding the key areas of automation to make the business processes smooth
  • Design and create various analytical reports and dashboards to help users to identify critical KPIs.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in an enterprise Data and Analytics environment using SQL
  • 4+ years of experience in a business-facing analytical role and proven track record of related success
  • Experience with some or all of the following: data integrations / ETL, data warehouses, data validation, data visualization, report design, SQL, advanced Excel, Python, Power BI ot Tableau, data governance and analytics concepts like relational data modeling
  • 4+ years of experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) 
  • Powerful Storytelling with large, complex datasets
  • Extensive experience in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau driven dashboards and analytics and knowledge of Tableau architecture
  • Proficiency in use of query and reporting analysis tools and a solid understanding of relational databases, and normalization
  • 2-3 years working with Power BI and related Microsoft tech stack
  • Degree in Mathematics/Economics/or other Science based degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Media-focused - Strong working knowledge of media including broadcast TV, digital, and mobile (specific experience with TV Distribution a plus)
