Job Description

1. Architect complex big data platforms leveraging industry best-practices, cloud and opensource technologies, emerging computing and storage patterns and frameworks in large scale data storage and processing domain.
2. Guide the Big data project development process through architecture decision making, reviews and assessments.
3. Drive data requirement gathering exercises, workshops with customer stakeholders, help to shape and define requirement.
4. Articulate complex big data technical solution in Big data to various stakeholders like development team, management, customer stakeholders, partners, and business team.
5. Provide consultancy and advisory services on Big data, data strategy and data architecture topics to customers, departments, and projects
6. Contribute to enterprise architecture by understanding business vision and objectives, translating them to data strategies and roadmaps. Evaluate top of technology trends and drive data governance practices.
7. Demonstrate thought leadership in data architecture within Bosch and Global Venues
8. Coach and Mentor Technical Specialists and Architects in data architecture stream
9. Design and execute proof of concepts to validate technology or business concepts

Qualifications

1. Qualified with relevant Architecture methods (TOGAF, Zachman)
2. Implementation experience of large scale big data, data warehouse and analytics platforms
3. In dept knowledge of data lake, data warehouse, data integration and complex data processing technologies from Azure and/or AWS
a. Azure Data lake, Data bricks, HD Insights, Azure synapse analytics, Azure ML, Power BI, Azure data factory
AND/OR
b. AWS S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, EMR, Data bricks
4. Knowledge of opensource big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, Storm, Casandra, HBase, Mongo DB, Jasper, and one or more ETL tools.
5. Well versed with SQL, Python and any of the leading databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or Casandra)
6. Expertise in two or more domains including IoT, i4.0/Smart manufacturing, connected products, smart energy or connected mobility
7. Ability to design highly available, reliable data architecture that can enable innovative analytics and applications handling large amounts of data at scale.
8. Advanced analytical and design skills to study, comprehend and design complex data, data models and meta data to derive to right architecture principles and requirements
9. Knowledge and awareness in industry standard architectures, emerging trends, and best practices in data architecture.
10. Strong understanding of Data Governance, data quality and MLOps processes, methods and tools
