Job Description

In the position as data architect, you will work closely with the domain architect, team architects and data stewards around BEC. Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:  

• Design, implement, and maintain best practice data architecture for the Finance Solutions domain.
• Guide and facilitate development teams and customer representatives to understand data needs and develop solutions.
• Represent the domain on the data sharing authority and manage dependencies across other domains.
• Responsible for the data aspect of solution design, reviews, and problem spaces (in the Architecture Cluster).
• Involvement in Master data management and Data Catalogue initiatives
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies related to data architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience within IT or Finance
• 5-7 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration.
• Strong understanding of retail banking regulations and compliance requirements, as well as experience working with big data technologies and data warehousing solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong experience in data architecture, data modeling, data integration, and data warehousing using Data Vault 2.0 methodology and cloud technologies.
• Strong understanding of retail banking regulations and compliance requirements.

• Ability to provide guidance and training to other members of the team.
• Proven track record of success in data architecture and experience in the retail banking industry.
