We are looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our team to build our data infrastructure and help create a data-first company culture. You will work with our Data team, to develop consistent and machine-readable formats. You will help Networx stakeholders to answer business questions utilizing data. Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Build the Data Warehouse to support the organizational growth
- Create data integrations from external sources into the warehouse using Stitch
- Build data modeling and transformations using DBT
- Build the data pipeline ensuring data accuracy and validation processes are included
- Use an understanding of the business to provide data that supports stakeholder needs
- Own data pipelines and use them to help stakeholders make informed decisions
Requirements
Must Have
- Strong experience with SQL, of at least 2 years
- An independent, self-learner who is passionate about data
- High-level verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take business understanding into consideration when building the infrastructure
- Able to own data projects and data pipelines
- Data modeling and creation of data marts experience
Nice to Have
- A bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience with Snowflake / Google Big Query, DBT, Stitch, and Hightouch
- Experience working with teams that are geographically dispersed including international team members
