About Job

A Manager has the responsibility of leading a work team and being reference for NIQ statistical designs, also to ensure that Universe Estimation and Sample Design activities be performed timely and according to NIQ quality standards, and make the knowledge in the team sustainable through time.  

Responsibilities 

  • Guarantee that all activities related to RES, SD, Feasibilities, etc. be performed timely and according to NIQ quality standards 
  • Provide expert technical support to clients related to NIQ statistical designs 
  • Lead and develop work teams 
  • Use statistical methodologies for data analysis 
  • Develop innovation in processes based in regular reviews of statistical designs and from business needs as well

Qualifications

About You 

Do you have the ability to lead a work team working towards objectives, Interested in continuous learning and early adoption of new technologies/tools and Intellectual curiosity and persistence to find answers?

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuary, Stats, Maths or similar (with PhD, preferred).
  • Strong analysis skills of statistical data. 
  • Highly self-motivated with a bias for action and results  
  • Excellent communications skills with technical and non-technical audiences (spanish, english) 
  • Ability of remote interaction with multicultural work teams 
  • Interested in continuous learning and early adoption of new technologies/tools 
  • At least two years of experience in a leading role, managing people  
  • At least two years of experience with R and/or Python, knowledge of SQL 
  • Functional knowledge of bitbucket or other relevant code repositories 
  • Advanced use of Office (Excel, Power Point) 
  • Experience in Statistical Sampling and/or Large Scale Surveys 
  • Experience in Product design and development 
  • Experience with NielsenIQ data / clients.
  • Knowledge of Machine learning/Neural networks (preferred)
