We have an opportunity for a CMDB and Data Lead to join the team.

In this role, you will be managing the practices and processes to ensure the collection, quality, integrity and availability of all forms of data and data structures within a key software system. 

    Job Description

    A "Day in the Life" will see you: 

    • Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining data structures.
    • Interpreting data and analysing results using standardised techniques.
    • Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimise quality.
    • Identifying new data sources, collecting data and sourcing missing data.
    • Generating information and insights from data sets and identifying trends and patterns including removing and cleaning data holdings.
    • Assist with the establishment of data management principles to support dependability and consistency of data practices.
    • Recognise, analyse, and understand patterns in multifaceted data sets.
    • Analysing data into clear and actionable reports.
    • Prepare data into reports, dashboards, slide packs on a regular (monthly & quarterly) and adhoc basis.

    Qualifications

    About You and What You'll Bring

    We are seeking a CMDB and Data Lead who loves everything data! This includes managing data in all its forms, analysing information structures and someone who is passionate about developing innovative ways of displaying and articulating information.

    Alongside your degree and work experience, other skills and requirements include:

    • General understating of SQL, ESXi & Hyper V.
    • Good attention to detail.
    • Strong understanding of ServiceNow.
    • Experience in running CMDB reports from ServiceNow.
    • Intermediate to Advanced excel skills.

    General skills:

    • Strong analytical skills working with both structured and unstructured data.
    • Be open to researching and creating new approaches.
    • Ability to work autonomously as well as contribute in a team and professional environment.
    • Good understanding of CMDB practices.
