The Work:

Experienced in making sense of the complex. The go-to when it comes to the knowing how to collect, interpret and analyze data. Lead the charge to work with business stakeholders to understand their goals and determine how data can be used.

• Create innovative data-based solutions to meet the technical needs
• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets
• Conduct experimentation and prototypes in various data science techniques, developing, executing, and maintaining scripts to access, analyze, interpret, and visualize numerous data sets individually or in combination
• Analyze data to effectively coordinate the integration and implementation of new systems or modifications to existing systems
• Apply software/tools to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
• Support Agile software development lifecycle

Here’s what you need:

• 3 years of experience in a Data Science role
• Experience developing briefings, dashboards, reports, and other deliverables using data science tools and techniques
• Knowledge of analytic methods and methodological tools such as: applied mathematics, computer programming, and/or visualization
• Knowledge of Python and some of the following software/tools: SQL, R, Hadoop, Spark, Java, C/C++, Git, Bash, Tableau, ArcGIS, and/or Unix commands

Bonus points if: 

• 5 years of related experience using Python to manipulate large data sets
• Knowledge of data collection methods, capabilities, and tasking process
• Ability to leverage multiple data management tools to organize relevant information

Security Clearance:

• An active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required to start

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.    

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role  

California: $105,200 - $168,400 

Colorado: $105,200 - $145,500 

New York City: $121,700 - $168,400

Washington: $112,100 - $154,900
