Job Description

Tasks:

• Taking over responsibility and coordinating all technical developments of the eLake Platform Stream incl. releases
• Creating and changing Solution software under consideration of the software and underlying solution development guidelines;
• Assessing customer requirements from a technical perspective with respective effort estimations;
• Assisting in the design and development of proof of concept and prototypes;
• Collaborating with Solution and IT Architects on the delivery of Solution functionalities;
• Analyzing, developing and implementing Solution code that satisfies design requirements;
• Following and using the respective templates, processes and regulations from excellence organizations and ensuring a consistent requirement engineering, development, deployment and testing methodology. Collaborating with the technical development management of the development excellence organisations;
• Defining consistent system specific guidelines for the software development environment in alignment with central guidelines and solution excellence organisation;
• Participating in tier 3 Solution support activities including incident management and the assessment and delivery of application upgrades and patches;
• Document specifications and support the creation of operational support manuals during the technical implementation;
• Taking over responsibility for interface implementation and documentation;
• Assessing impact of implemented IT Product/Service changes;
• Balance between standardization and customer orientation as well as development speed and time-to-market;
• Steering of external and internal developers.

Qualifications

Profile: 

• Expert knowledge of data warehouse technologies;
• Understanding of cross functional topics such as AIM, Cyber Security, GDPR, Operations & Support;
• Basic knowledge of current monitoring , i.e. Splunk;
• Working knowledge of quality assurance methods, tools and techniques/ability to interpret quality indicators;
• Capable of documenting and interpreting functional and technical specifications;
• Experienced in effectively interacting and communicating;
• Knows the required templates, processes and regulations from the solution excellence organisation.
