The Bosch unit in Aveiro belongs to the Thermotechnology division and manages the global business unit of residential water. About 1,300 associates are responsible for the development, production and marketing of innovative solutions that make homes smarter, more efficient and environment friendly. Job Description

Your contribution to something big: 

As Data Architect within a central team for Bosch Thermotechnology, you will:

  • Perform analyses of business processes and their mapping in business data models and corresponding technical data models;
  • Support other architects on such data modeling activities and data analytics use-case identification;
  • Participate in data architecture/process reviews of division-wide IT solutions as well as for the enforcement of the architecture/process standards;
  • Be part of a newly born Data Lake Platform, having the chance to define, build, structure and model use-cases across the globe;
  • Be responsible for documenting according to standards.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field;
  • Experience in data modeling, data architecture and data engineering methods & technologies;
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g.: Python);
  • Good analytical skills;
  • Creative, proactive and goal-oriented mindset;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
