Job Description

About this job:

We are seeking a Business Data Analyst to join our Life Operations and Administration team for our Dublin office. The holder of this position will be reporting to the Data Infrastructure Team Lead.

Robust data process is essential to our business. The Data Infrastructure team is responsible for the automatization of the data received from our cedants which is used by different functions for various financial, actuarial studies and reporting. In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Improve automation of the existing Tool by adding new scope to the data process
  • Support the Longevity line of business including preparing quarterly analysis
  • Liaise with stakeholders to understand their data requirements.  
  • Participate and contribute to the preparation of data analysis, and output delivery to stakeholders
  • Ensure data quality – client data received needs to be complete, accurate, consistent, and provided with contractual deadlines
  • Contribute and ensure that adequate Data process documentation is in place
  • Participate in projects and other ad hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications

About you:

  • Possess advance skills of MS Office and good basis of SQL. Knowledge of R / Python would be an add-on advantage
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Experience in Re/Insurance with a focus on data is a plus
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written), knowledge in French is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, analytical and rigorous mind
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact and communicate across all levels
  • Sense of curiosity with willingness to learn
  • Able to work independently and as part of team
