Who We WantWe are seeking highly motivated individuals with data science/statistics expertise to join our team. You will monitor, analyze, and improve models which fundamentally drive Arrive’s business strategy. You will have the opportunity to engage collaboratively with the teams throughout the organization and present your findings to a broad audience.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop an expert understanding of the logistics industry as well as Arrive’s core business functions and processes
  • Provide monitoring oversight of statistical and AI/ML models deployed in production environments
  • Responsible for data integrity, feature & concept drift, performance trends, bias detection, etc. 
  • Develop an enhanced model monitoring framework with processes for investigating substantive changes across multiple data subsets of interest (geographic, etc.)
  • Integrate new & existing models into the monitoring framework
  • Responsible for customizing dashboards, creating thresholds, and defining automated alerts across multiple data subsets of interest (geographic, etc.) to support business objectives
  • Identify and document opportunities for model improvement and subsequently assist in developing model features to provide these enhancements
  • Lead the development of best practices to ensure ongoing benefits realization from models

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in a relevant field (Data Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering) with >1 year of professional experience
  • Solid knowledge of statistics and mathematical modeling 
  • Strong experience with Python and SQL
  • Basic experience of data science models 
  • Focus on impact, agility, learning, openness, togetherness, independence, humility, and responsibility 
  • Strong written & oral communication skills and an ability to present effectively to stakeholders of all levels 
  • Experience with an Agile development methodology is a plus 
  • Experience in the Logistics or Transportation Industry is a major plus
