ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for an ML Engineer who can help to accelerate the hinge health AI/ML mission by working closely with the ML/ Data Science and Engineering teams.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

• Set up infrastructure and services required to perform ML inference at scale on the AWS cloud. 
• Streamline the process to package, deploy and optimize ML models and expose them through API’s for Hinge Health applications or services to consume.
• Enable Monitoring for ML models in production.
• Help to streamline the ML development tools and process.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, 2+ proven experience as an ML Engineer.
• Ability to write robust code in Python.
• Excellent technical communication skills, both written and verbal. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture
• Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn)
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Comfort controlling the big data feed that will be used to train the AI
• Experience in working with AWS ML services is a plus. 
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as computer science, software engineering or data science, is recommended. Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence is a plus.
