Job Description

A day in the life of a AWS AI / Machine Learning Specialist

As an AWS AI / Machine Learning Specialist, you will be involved in the analysis, design, implementation and deployment of AWS Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technology-based business solutions to improve our clients’ delivery approach.

Your main duties will be to:

• Apply the cutting edge Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and statistical techniques complex multi-modal sensor data processing workflow challenges.
• Train custom machine learning / deep learning models based on structured/ unstructured data.
• Investigate innovative machine learning, artificial intelligence, and statistical techniques for addressing aviation challenges.
• Involve in rapid lab prototyping, field testing, technical benchmarking, and modeling and simulation related to AI/ML applications.
• Design and implement feature engineering and machine learning pipelines, deploying machine learning solutions into production.
• Optimize machine learning solutions for performance and scalability.
• Develop AI/ML algorithms and models to deploy into production.
• Develop and use modern software engineering software development tools and techniques.
• Explain machine learning solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Engage with stakeholders and sponsors to analyze operational requirements, address key technical challenges, and apply sound AI/ML technology solutions.
• Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for data analyses, model development, validation and implementation.
• Write efficient and well-organized software to ship products in an iterative, continual-release environment.

Qualifications

If you have :

• A University degree (at least Master) in Computer science/ Software engineering/ Data science/ Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent field.
• At least 7 years of working experience in ICT sector
• At least 3 years of working experience in the implementation of AWS AI/ML solutions.
• Experience in Perl, Python, Matlab, R and/or NLP/ML libraries.
• Experience with machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as SVM, Decision Forests, Neural Network, and/or artificial intelligence frameworks.
• Experience with Data Management.
• Excellent knowledge of AWS AI/ML Services;
• Very good knowledge of Linux, Unix, Bash;
• Experience with MT quality procedures, testing methodologies and tools, such as automatic quality metrics (BLEU scores and similar) and human evaluation of MT quality.
• Experience with query languages, such as SQL, Hive, etc
• Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, etc.
• Experience with data visualisation tools, such as D3.js, GGplot, etc.
• Experience in the field of corpus based linguistics.
• Experience with alignment models and classification methods.
• Experience with data analytics over big datasets, non-structured databases as well as data lakes.
• Ability to understand, speak and write English.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously.
• Results-oriented mindset, focused on delivering.
• Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
• Good scripting and programming skills.
• Data-driven mindset.

Certification:

• AWS Machine Learning certification.
