Job Summary / Purpose:

We are currently seeking a Data Modeller Team Lead to join our Data Modelling department.

You will take on responsibility for the management of the day to day tasks and provide support, guidance and leadership to the data officers whilst using our bespoke tools. The Data Modeller Team Lead will support and coordinate the work with our global client and other agencies, ensuring that amends to data models, pricing files and market files are completed correctly and efficiently.

The data team lead will also support the wider tasks within the department such as assistance with team recruitment and training of new staff, and will also be responsible for overseeing the professional development of all data officers.

The data team lead will assist with timings, risks and issues to the Project supporting the Project Manager with documentation and Multi agency meetings.

Additionally, you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

Essential –

● Complete complex technical tasks within in-house tools.

● Experience of presenting / reporting to senior stakeholders / clients.

● Ability to perform Root Cause Data analysis.

● Experience of supporting and resolving third party queries on data.

● Task prioritisation experience.

● Experience of multi-agency projects.

● Logical and detailed team performance management & analysis.

● Experience of line management duties in the absence of line manager.

● Excellent working knowledge of Excel (which is used for the data modelling).

● IT literate, ability to pick up new software intuitively.

● Experience of team motivating and opening communication channels.

● Ability to complete interviews for new staff.

● Experience of resource management.

● Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

● Good attention to detail / high degree of accuracy.

● Logical approach and good analytical skills.

● Previous experience / education in database analysis.

● Previous knowledge of maintaining and creating project documentation.

● Ability to assess large sets of information, solve problems and provide feedback.

● Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.


Desirable -

● Experience of XML/JSON

● Experience of Waterfall & Agile digital projects.

● Prince2 Qualification.

● Advanced Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, macros and VLOOKUPs.

● Previous experience working within an agency and/or with clients

● Experience of product configurators or an understanding of how they work

● Basic HTML experience

● Previous experience of JIRA or Project Management tools
