Senior Engineer - Data Engineering

We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join our Data Engineering team, which enables data analysis across Hudl. We currently support a 100TB data warehouse used by hundreds of people to make mission-critical decisions for our products and business. We’ll lean on your experience to guide projects that scale our systems and make data analysis more efficient across the company. You Are

• Equipped with the ideal background. We prefer Python, AWS, MongoDB, JavaScript (React, Redux), and CSS, but know that great Software Engineers can learn quickly. We aren't going to be hung up on the tech stack you've used.
• A problem solver. You understand that problem solving is a team effort and will help others in our Engineering Team learn and develop.
• A translator. You translate real-world problems into elegant code solutions.
• Flexible. You understand the balancing act between crafting a robust, lasting solution and getting work done.
• Excited. You're eager to have your work used by real people to solve real problems.

You Will

• Lead. You’ll set an example for others in planning, designing and delivering complex projects. 
• Own the problem. You'll work in an autonomous squad that has the freedom and expertise to deliver the best solution.
• Work in a variety of areas. Your team stays flexible so they can jump on the most important problems, whether that's building out new data pipelines, scaling our current data warehouse infrastructure, or improving our business intelligence tools. 
• Deliver great user value. You'll work on Hudl’s innovative data platform that's changing the way our users find and use our vast library of data to stay ahead of the competition.
• Be an involved team member. You'll actively participate in Scrum ceremonies and proactively and thoughtfully create tickets for the team’s backlog.
