We are looking for an experienced data engineer to join our BI Development team. 

As a data engineer in our team, you will get the opportunity to work with the most advanced technologies, develop end-to-end solutions independently, and work in a fast-changing environment.

So, what will you be doing all day?

  • Create ETL processes, creating new processes and pulling data from various APIs using Python and SQL.
  • Implement new technologies and collaborate with technology teams to integrate source systems with dwh.
  • Develop and maintain logical and physical data models.
  • Optimizing processes run-time and solving problems in a scalable manner.
  • Work closely with BI Analysts and Business Stakeholders on data requirements and functional specifications.
  • Create tools to enable self service BI capabilities.
  • Understand deeply our business models and support decision making by providing relevant data to stakeholders.

This is the perfect job for someone who:

  1. At least 3 years of relevant experience as a  Data engineer – must.
  2. B.Sc. in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience - must
  3. Proved experience in developing ETL processes in coding language (Python, R) - must
  4. Very high level of SQL - must.
  5. Experience with Python as object-oriented/object function scripting languages - must
  6. Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of sources like Hadoop, Spark, AWS Lambda, etc.
  7. Proven experience with data warehousing, modeling paradigms and architectures, proficient in DWH methodologies and best practices.
  8. Familiar with workflows and data processing pipelines like Airflow - big advantage.
  9. Experience with cloud services such as GCP or AWS (such as EC2, RDS, Redshift, S3) - big advantage
  10. Knowledge in Linux, Nomad, Docker, Kubernetes - Advantage.
  11. Experience with JS and Web development - advantage
  12. Experience with stream data technologies - advantage
