Jellyfish is a digital partner to some of the world’s leading brands, including Uber, eBay, Nike, Samsung, Google, Spotify, Ford, Aviva Investors and ASOS.

This role is part of Jellyfish Technology Solutions: a global team of 100 engineers & product specialists within Jellyfish in charge of building our set of proprietary technologies & SaaS Solutions like Reeport, Seelk, Myposeo and Vivid.

Our mission is to build a suite of analytics, automation and workflow software across the digital ecosystem, to drive performance, consistency or scalability. Our technologies include advertising automation, eCommerce analytics, market share modelling and more.

 

 

All the products we develop are Software-as-a-Service used around the world by data and marketing teams at complex organisations such as Nike, Uber, Google, AXA, and Club Med. 

We are organised in 8 fully functional squads responsible for the delivery of our suites (Creative, Paid Media, eCommerce, Analytics…). In parallel, we have built three transverse teams to support the global squads: Customer Success Management, Cloud Engineering and UX/UI Design.

Job Description

We are looking for a Data Engineering Executive to contribute to the product team on one side and the customer success team on the other side. Data engineers work closely with the clients, to meet their needs, proactively propose the best solutions and transfer, when it is needed, the client’s demands the product team to develop consistent and coherent solutions together with software engineers.

 

 

Responsibilities  

  • Maintain and improve existing data pipelines and develop new ones from scratch using SQL on either Google BigQuery, Snowflake or Microsoft Azure.

  • Communicate with clients and customer success managers to find solutions that meet their demands.

  • Apply advanced (both prescriptive and predictive) analytics solutions to go beyond clients’ expectations

  • Work closely with the product team to continuously improve our in-house software..

  • Use and share best practices to collaboratively deliver robust projects.

Qualifications

  • Strong SQL skills.

  • Knowledge in Python and GCP (Google Cloud Platform ) is a plus.

  • Product-oriented and passionate about delivering value to clients.

  • Polyvalent, curious and proactive individual, eager to solve problems and find solutions. 

  • Ability to work effectively across functions/teams, good team player.

  • Excellent communication, organisational & analytical skills.

  • Fluent in English/French
