Job Description

Advanced Analytics Office is leading an internal factory analytics and optimization platform development that enables real-time planning and optimization of shop-floor logistics. The platform has been implemented at various factories globally and added significant business value. The selected candidate will be a part of a dynamic team working closely with factory operations and the platform development team to provide factory solutions specifically designed to address business challenges. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a team that's instrumental in WDC’s Industry 4.0 journey. We'll change the way technology is used across global. 

Position Responsibilities: 

• A good command of English (spoken and written) 
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills  
• Willingness to learn and take up challenges 
• Strong conceptional and analytical skills with hands-on software development experience  
• Operational abilities including early software release support and driving root cause analysis and remediation 
• Ability to work with and engage multiple functional groups 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalency (CS, CE, CIS, IS, MIS, or engineering discipline) 
• Familiar with server-side languages: such as PHP, Python 
• Familiar with client-side programming such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS 
• Familiar with relational SQL and NoSQL databases 
• Familiar with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Airflow.
