Job Description

Areas: Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Image Processing, Video Understanding

We are looking for research engineers working in the areas of artificial intelligence, computer vision, and video understanding. As part of a fundamental research group, our innovations are expected to support R&D in the domains of video search/classification/caption/edit and human machine interaction. By joining our lab, you will have the chance to work on real world problems with industry funding. Our work will contribute to pushing the edge of technology innovation and we expect to publish our research results at top conferences. Collaboration, communication and curiosity will be key to your success. 

Responsibilities

Working closely with other research scientists, research engineers, and research interns, you will:

·       Invent state-of-the-art AI and computer vision algorithms to be published in top AI/CV conferences.

·       Design and implement AI/CV solutions to real-world problems, and land them in various Huawei products

Qualifications

·       PhD in computer science or related fields with a focus on computer vision and machine learning.

·       Papers at relevant conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI, IJCAI, etc.

·       In-depth hands-on experience in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch etc. and a track record of translating ideas into research prototypes quickly.

·       Working or internship experience at industry research labs or technology companies a plus.

·       Experience building large scale machine learning solutions for video content understanding/search/classification, or 3D Human/Object generation a plus for senior level positions
