Responsibilities

·        Simulate, analyze, and design different microwave photonics systems

·        Propose different architectures, components, and algorithms to address the challenging requirements of our computing platforms

·        Model microwave photonics platforms numerically and analytically

·        Work in collaboration with other silicon photonics designers to design and test different architectures

·        Proactively work to achieve challenging goals and create IP by innovative designs and architectures

·        Produce documentation and technical reviews

Qualifications

·        MSc in electrical engineering, physics or relevant discipline

·        3+ years of research experience in microwave photonics

·        Proficiency in photonic simulation tools such as Lumerical, COMSOL, Photon Design

·        Excellent programming skills (Python/C)

·        Motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills in written and spoken English

·        Good teamwork spirit and adaptability

·        Thrive in a dynamic, innovative, research and prototyping oriented environment

·        Preferred skills

.         General knowledge of machine learning techniques and/or wireless systems
