We are looking for a senior leader for our Analytics and Data Science team. This role will report directly to the SVP of IT.

As a Director of Analytics and Data Science at Podium, you will help us become a rigorously data-driven company by bringing years of technical experience and leadership to the table. Our ideal candidate will have a strong analytics and data-science background with a rich business acumen and excellent cross-functional relationship skills.

What you will be doing:

• Collaborate with the SVP IT, the CTO, and other cross-functional stakeholders to build and roll out robust data analytics solutions that will be central to how we run the business.
• Foster a culture of trusted partnership, service, and continuous improvement with your team and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the business.
• Lead the team to build and maintain our analytics technology stack, including Snowflake, Tableau, FiveTran, and DBT.
• Be the evangelist and advocate for data-driven decision making at Podium.

What you should have:

• 6+ years of relevant technical experience as a data scientist or data analyst, including 4+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Track record of building, managing, and growing diverse teams of up to 30 data analysts, data scientists, and data engineers.
• Strategic thinker – able to operate as a senior leader and influence company strategy with respect to analytics and data science.
• Proven executor - proven ability to convert the high-level strategy to a tactical plan and then diligently execute and deliver on it.
• "Hands-on" operating style and approach but a view towards the future and willingness to invest in people development and in developing an organization that will support a large company.
• Deep expertise in modern data and analytics pipelines, including Snowflake and Tableau.

What we hope you have:

• Deep experience building predictive models for sales, revenue churn, and sales expansion.
• Experience partnering with an Account Management organization to drive deeper understanding of customer usage, customer churn, and revenue expansion.
• Experience partnering with a Marketing organization to build robust end-to-end attribution systems as the foundation for Marketing to operate.
