Job description•Enthuse to design and implement large applications with attention to security, scalability, and high performance.•Responsible for defining architectural patterns, designing data models, providing guidance and developing data pipelines•Select the appropriate technology stack and tools and translate the business requirements into technical artifacts.•Conduct data analysis to comprehend the pertinent data sets and develop data models that cater to all the requirements.•Acts as a senior developer in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs.•Troubleshoot applications and work directly with various application/ business/support team partners•Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.•Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using multi-cloud environment (AWS and GCP).•Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.•Keep our data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers and AWS regions.•Create data tools and custom solutions for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.•Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.•Create Technical design documents and understand the business•Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.•Strong analytic skills related to working with structured, semi-structure, and unstructured datasets.
Essential Qualifications:•Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years. of experience in leading and implementing large scale analytics reporting and dashboard projects•8+ years of experience with ETL, data modelling, analysis, and reporting•7+ on experience working on data-bricks•7+ years of experience with Snowflake, SnapLogic, •5+ Years of experiencing writing Unix scripting•5 years of experience leading data warehousing and analytics projects in cloud, including using AWS technologies Redshift, S3, EC2, Lambda, data lake, Data-pipeline, and other big data technologies•5+ years of development exp. in creating or enhancing Data warehouse applications using Ab Initio, Unix•4 years of experience in Data Lake and Power BI Reporting•Experience in leading Architecture discussion for a greenfield Data Warehouse and design for Power BI project.•Provide Leadership to the program Delivery, Planning Activities, Requirements, Design and Implementation Timelines.•Experience in Resource Management with training teams and individual support from a delivery timeline perspective.•Proficiency in warehousing architecture techniques, including MOLAP, ROLAP, ODS, DM, and EDW•10 years of strong SQL and Stored Procedure knowledge,•7+ Years’ experience with relational SQL NoSQL, and other databases including Postgres, ClickHouse, Neptune, and Cassandra. •5+ Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.•Strong analytic skills related to working with structured, semi-structure, and unstructured datasets.•Create Technical design documents and understand the business
Desired Qualifications:•Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.•A successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets.•Exposure to other BI tolls like BO, BODS, SSRS, Crystal Reports will be a added advantage.•5+ years of Experience working with agile development methodologies such as Sprint and Scrum•Good to have knowledge on Collibra•Ability to coordinate completion of multiple tasks meet aggressive time frames
