Advisor Data Management in Financial Reporting – Global Markets (m/f/d)

Your department:

The “Financial Reporting Global Markets” department is responsible for monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting of the “Markets” segment according to IFRS and the analysis and explanation of the key financial figures related to Market activities. Further focus is on development of existing internal controls related to the accounting process. Furthermore, the department provides accounting support in relation to transactions and commercial energy contracts.

Job Description

• Drive / built up data mining functionalities within the accounting department.
• Develop tools for data analytics regarding financial information for the segment “Markets” to tell the economic story behind the mass of data.
• Implement standardized reports to explain key financial figures (Balance Sheet / p&l) to our stakeholders.
• Support reconciliation between internal and external reporting.
• Drive process improvement and automatization

Qualifications

• Relevant university degree in finance/IT or statistics
• At least three to five years relevant experience
• Advanced knowledge in SAP Analytics Cloud / Power BI
• Programming experience (Python, SQL, VBA)
• Basic accounting knowledge and experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Analyser for Office would be beneficial
• Knowledge about Robotics / RPA
• Interested in energy trading / management industry and have a sound business understanding and curiosity
• Strong analytical skills
• Very good communication skills in English
