About this role:

Data is the foundation of any business and the people who manage that data must hold a position that is trusted and valued. This role is around the supply and management of the data that ultimately provides the business the ability to make the correct decisions and actions to deliver projects. This role will be 40 hours per week, 08.30-17.30.

Here’s what your new role will look like:

Manage upload of seismic data to clients target environment and geospatially represent uploaded data through GUI interface.

Requirements

A successful candidate for this role:

  • Has application experience of Kingdom, Petrel /Studio, OpenWorks,
  • Good understanding of CRS, Datums, Projections,
  • Has knowledge of ArcGis,
  • Has a systematic and disciplined approach to work and is able to plan, schedule and monitor own work within a limited and / or defined timeline,
  • Has a meticulous attention to detail with accurate inputting skill,
  • Has knowledge and experience of Geoscience data,
  • Can adopt a proactive and coordinated approach in identifying anomalies, areas of concern and resolving problems in a timely and effective manner,
  • Has an effective and appropriate level of written and oral communication skills,
  • Has a positive attitude and demonstrates commitment and initiative in the delivery of an efficient service to the business, i.e. is customer focused,
  • Knowledge of Geoscience and Drilling workflows,
  • Understanding of data management systems,
  • MS Office computer literacy,
  • Experience in a similar role.


Preferred experience, qualifications, knowledge of:

  • Kingdom, Petrel. Any other Geoscience Data Management System,
  • Working in Data Management Role,
  • A degree qualification in Geoscience, Data Management, Information Management or Information Science is desirable.
