About the position:

As a Senior Data Analyst in the Engagement & CRM team, you’ll play a key part in deeply understanding what drives our customers behavior, and defining our strategy on how to engage them even more in our ecosystem. You'll be right at the spotlight, working across several teams and steering one of the top priority initiatives at SumUp.

What you’ll do:

• Analyze quantitative and qualitative information to identify what moves the needle on user engagement across different products
• Work closely with peers and stakeholders to propose and support, through data analyses, the design of strategies and campaigns to increase user engagement. You’ll also be responsible to track results and make business recommendations
• Communicate strategy and results to senior management
• Build and maintain dashboards with key KPIs/analyses to inform strategic and tactical day to day decisions

You’ll be great for this role if:

• You have 3+ years of proven experience in solving complex business problems through data analysis
• You are a strong problem-solver (you are analytical, creative and pragmatic) and have a good knowledge of how to build experiments (hypothesis formulation, A/B testing, sampling, etc)
• You are a pro at Excel and SQL, and has a good knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau (you don't have to be a pro, just know your way around it)
• You are an advanced English speaker (some of your stakeholders are in global teams)
• You are comfortable with interacting with multiple stakeholders, including building and presenting results to senior management, but also engaging people from several teams and seniority levels into working towards a single goal
• You work well in a fast-changing environment (you are curious, proactive and keen on questioning patterns)
