Transplant Genomics Inc. (“TGI”) is a molecular diagnostics company committed to improving organ transplant outcomes with non-invasive serial monitoring guided by genomics. TGI’s product portfolio of both individual and combined blood gene expression and dd-cfDNA testing is capable of reliably detecting subclinical kidney rejection and acute rejection in kidney transplant patients with stable kidney function, in addition to a new application for liver transplant patients that guides and controls the optimal dose of immunosuppressants.

Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Client Services, the Data Analyst will develop a deep understanding of the data used by the client services and mobile phlebotomy teams and will utilize this knowledge to develop KPIs, dashboards and detailed analyses to support business objectives.


The ideal candidate will have the ability to observe and discuss with the team members to understand the goals and requirements of the business and will have the skillset to translate those goals into actionable data.  This position will help build and maintain the data tools and dashboards that the organization can use to understand trends.  You also keep a pulse on current business processes, and customer service insights so that you can make recommendations alongside the numbers. The position will also be called into help or manage data scrubs and QC checks in order to maintain data integrity. You will have the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively; you will dive deep into multiple data sets.

Essential Job Duties:
•    Provide data analysis and data insights
•    Partner with and understand departmental processes and identify and build their needed KPIs
•    Use effective communication skills and ask great questions to understand user needs for reporting (what problem are they trying to solve?)
•    Scope, build and manage KPIs: produce dashboards and reports
•    Able to assist in ad hawk data scrubs and QC reviews 
•    Translate data into meaningful insights to drive decision making, automation and process improvement, and uncover performance opportunities
•    Develop recommendations to solve problems and issues related to operations
•    Drive automation of routine data collection and develop reporting processes
•    You are excited about diving into any size of datasets and pulling out insights


Essential; Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•    Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics)
•    High proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
•   Expertise in Excel (e.g., Nested IF statements, INDEXMATCH and VLOOKUP, pivot tables, modeling)
•    Ability to think strategically about uses of data
•    Excellent interpersonal skills
•    Experience working with multiple departments
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills, administrative skills, and above-average computer skills
•    Organization and attention to details
•    Result- and goal-oriented attitude, integrity, and a commitment to quality
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment; flexible and quickly adaptable to changing priorities
•    Ability to function independently and collaboratively
•    Experience in a medical setting and with medical terminology preferred
•    Bachelor’s Degree 
•    Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
