Peloton is looking for a Data Engineer who is highly analytical, creative and a problem-solver who is willing to constantly challenge the status quo in an effort to continuously improve data-driven insights. This role will work closely with the internal team members, data science, operations, and business teams to support a data-driven culture by enabling and empowering self-service, automation, and seamless integration of data into the Member Support culture.This role reports to the Director, Member Support Planning & Analytics, and will leverage SQL and SQL based BI tools (Looker, Alteryx) to deliver data models, reports, dashboards and ad hoc analyses that drive actionable insights for the Member Support organization.    THE ROLE:
Peloton's Membership team is responsible for:
  • Ensuring a seamless, on-brand experience throughout the end-to-end member journey
  • Deploying tailored engagement and retention efforts to drive usage and minimize churn
  • Providing personalized and elevated support for our members whenever they need assistance
  • Own development and execution of data models, data structure, dashboards and reports for Peloton’s Member Support organization.
  • Work in close partnership across Peloton’s Member Support organization to identify and solve key business problems by leveraging data to drive actionable insights.
  • Coordinate with data science teams, IT teams and partner teams to develop a data strategy for Member Support that enables the integration of data from multiple sources into intuitive and accurate data models.
  • Use BI tools (Looker, Alteryx, Tableau) to build automated reports and dashboards that enable and empower self-service among Member Support leaders.
  • Leverage cross-functional skills, knowledge and data to produce more cohesive and impactful analyses.
  • Partner with Member Support leaders to understand and build KPIs that align with and support the Member Support organization’s key strategic priorities and goals.
  • Test and evaluate data integrity across key datasets, providing insights on how to improve both the quality and availability of data.
  • Have a firm understanding of data process and flow that allows for quick identification of potential errors and efficient troubleshooting of these errors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in analytics, supply chain management, statistics, engineering, mathematics, economics, finance or related discipline (required)
  • Intellectual curiosity and a passion for data & analytics.
  • 2+ years of work experience in analytics, BI or data engineering
  • Excellent working knowledge of sql and sql based BI tools
  • Excellent knowledge of data architecture, database design and data governance principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with minimal direction
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Impeccable integrity and ethical standards
  • Experience coding with scripted languages (R or Python) is preferred
  • Graduate degree in analytics, IT, supply chain management, statistics, engineering is preferred.
