Paymerang is an accounts payable (AP) automation firm - we aim to create the perfect payment for our clients by offering automation of the AP process. Our Payments team is crucial to this, as you are the main point of contact with our clients' vendors - you are reaching out to them and are a forward-facing part of what we do.

As a Client Data Analyst, you will act as a liaison between Paymerang, our clients (Customers and Partners), and their vendors. The primary responsibility of this role is managing all aspects of the transmission and translation of invoice and payment data between client’s ERP systems and Paymerang Applications. You will develop and maintain solutions for various ERPs for the creation and transmission of this data and deliver those solutions to new clients during implementation. You will partner with clients, third party contractors, ERP technical support personnel and internal teams to create and deliver critical solutions. You will coordinate and lead regular meetings with internal teams and external partners to clearly communicate project deliverables and set expectations relating to solutions that enable business success.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects for each data transfer project assigned to the implementation team
  • Develop and document solutions for client ERPs for creating and transmitting invoice and payment data to and from Paymerang Applications
  • Regular status reporting to the Client Success Team and with external stakeholders on projects as agreed upon
  • Keep all solution documentation up to date and error free
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Input accurate details and manage reports in our application
  • Attend daily stand-ups and other project meetings as needed with various resources
  • Follow policies and procedures when speaking with clients and vendors
  • Provide sensitive payment information clearly and completely
  • Escalate client/vendor issues as necessary
  • Identify and confirm vendor needs, ensuring details are communicated and notated
  • Build strong relationships with internal partners
  • Meet personal and team qualitative and quantitative target

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent
  • Solid understanding of data formats and transformations
  • Experience troubleshooting file issues, and communicating resolution to clients and internal teams quickly and accurately
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Experience with API interactions with third party apps
  • Exceptional communication skills and a customer focused mindset
  • Bias towards action and a proven track record of problem solving
  • Demonstrate a strong customer focus
  • Attention to detail with strong written and computer skills
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge and skills
  • 2-3 years ETL experience, preferably in a financial setting
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Electronic Payments, Sales or Collections experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 1-2 years’ experience leading technical projects
  • 2-3 years ETL experience, preferably in a financial setting
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Electronic Payments, Sales or Collections experience
