Job Description
Vosker is looking for an experienced data science practitioner to join its AI team. The team's main responsibility is to develop, maintain and add features to its image recognition systems. Those systems are used in real world product to enhance the user experience and add capabilities to Vosker's cellular cameras.
YOUR NEXT CHALLENGES:
Using practical solutions, push the limits of our image recognition technology
- Perform deep learning workflows to build, train, evaluate and deploy new models;
- Follow MLOps best practices to develop and improve our machine learning pipelines;
- Optimize model performances given our operational constraints;
- Apply software engineering best practices to ensure great code quality and durability/maintainability.
Contribute to solving business problems through our current and future AI/ML initiatives
- Develop other computer vision capabilities as well as predictive or advanced analytics solutions;
- Design, prototype, build and execute complete data analysis and machine learning workflows;
- Productionize and deploy models into functional end products.
Use your experience to bring technical leadership to the team
- Suggest creative or state of the art solutions through technology watch;
- Provide recommendations on the best practices;
- Coach or guide other team members.
Qualifications
- Hands-on applied “AI” experience and understanding of machine learning concepts and tools;
- Experience in MLOps and deploying ML products or services in production;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Experience interpreting data and communicating results;
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, to adapt to change and to work collaboratively;
- Fluent in Python;
- Comfortable working with tools like Tensorflow, Git, Docker, Bash and AWS.
