We ingest data from various sources, including our own proprietary environmental sensors/hardware, to calculate carbon emissions from different facilities in real-time via SaaS. The resulting independent data can inform the procurement of offsets in real-time using microtransactions, formulate a data-driven ESG strategy that investors now demand, improve operations by identifying problem areas in minutes, and bolster customer engagement through radical supply chain transparency.

The Midstream Data Specialist will be a key contributor to the growing business unit focusing on aggregation, characterization, and reconciliation of emissions. They will serve as a subject matter expert on midstream operational and emissions data to deliver a reconciled emission inventory for our customers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify operational data available in transmission, storage, processing and gathering across operators
  • Partner with data engineer to structure data within our systems
  • Map operational data to emissions performance
  • Think creatively about addressing data gaps to reduce error in emissions calculation

Requirements

Competencies

  • Experience working on new initiatives, teams, products, and/or businesses
  • Familiarity with midstream SCADA data across transmission and storage, processing, and gathering and boosting
  • Ability to work cross-functionally between technical and commercial teams
  • Exposure to methane and CO2 monitoring solutions

Qualifications

  • Covid-19 vaccination required
  • BA/BS in related field
