Job Description

We are looking for an Analytics Engineer in Operations that fuels the business with insights, helps finding new opportunities and plays a key role in implementing a tailor-made data strategy. As part of our amazing team, you will be able to shape how our products are delivered to our scaling international customer base. Building on your expertise you will make sure that we provide the business with state-of-the-art systems and technology that makes the ever-increasing complexity of the business manageable. 

In this position, you'll have responsibilities along the entire BI value chain: From data pipelines to reporting, dashboarding and advanced analytics we want you to support on a wide range of decisions at the core of the business.  

 
Responsibilities: 

• You create sophisticated data products that are intuitive to use and address the most relevant business needs. 

• You are the go-to-person to solve technical tasks and you can help your team to learn from your skillset. 

• You know how to approach frequent issues and you can draw on experience to implement best-in-class solutions.  

• You develop reporting as a whole: From understanding the needs of the business to providing easily understandable and actionable data 

• You work on our centrally maintained Tableau data integrations, data pipelines and data models - You'll get to utilize our modern tech stack as part of your work (Python, Tableau, Snowflake, AWS/Azure/GCP, Git) 

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working as a BI Developer, Analytics Engineer or Data Engineer. 

• Proven track record to transforming large amounts of complex data into actionable insights by leading the end-to-end creation of data products 

• Expert in querying and manipulating data sets using SQL, Python and visualization tools 

• Self-starter who loves working autonomously but embraces to make the team thrive. 

• Strong hands-on experience with data integrations, data pipelines, data models, and dashboards paired with creative problem-solving abilities and an eye for detail. 

• Tech skills: Expertise in SQL, Python and Tableau (or similar),  

• Experience with tools as BigQuery, SnowFlake, Airflow, Kafka, AWS/Azure/GCP is a huge plus
