About The Role:

We are looking for a seasoned Data Scientist who believes in Innovation, Insights, and Impact – and has a proven career in delivering & performing under dynamic & fast-paced industries. To be successful in this position, you should have a solid experience with data-driven analytics, statistical modelling, and machine learning capabilities. A business mind, a tech-geek, and a storyteller!

Responsibilities

• To undergo continuous exploratory data analysis, develop deep understanding of Foodics products and business and proactively citing Insights, development across all verticals at Foodics.
• Understand, and be involved in various business processes, proactive identification of improvement areas, and build/deploy scalable ML models in areas like (but not limited to) Recommender Systems, Prediction models, segmentation, personalization & customer engagement/LTV, etc.
• Run controlled experiments, design measures for success metrics and leading to continuous improvement in existing ways of doing business.
• Proficiency into ML Model cloud deployment, and automation for production, data pipeline, model scoring, measurement, validation & retraining.
• Able to visualize & present information to stakeholders in a structured way to drive actions and decision making.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist, with strong coding skills
• Prior experience in end-to-end ML model scoping, data-preparation, Cleaning of Data
• Must have experience in e-commerce/retail/fintech domain. Data Science experience into Food/F&B/online Food delivery companies will be a huge advantage.
• Expert level skills into the following is mandatory -
  • R or Python,
  • AWS/Databricks
  • SQL
  • any BI tool
  • MS Excel
• Self-starter, working independently across functional groups and on multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Must have a strong communication skill and a good presentation skill. Fluent in English is a must.
