How do we ingest, transform, and store data in ways that can be useful for us to build better products? In this role as a Senior Data Software Engineer, you will work with product managers, engineers, data analysts, data scientists, designs and others to build the data platform that backs the products serving 900,000+ Hims & Hers users.

You Will:

• Design data structures, optimize data pipelines, and develop infrastructure for data collection in order to support a broadly cross-functional team
• Help guide team decisions based on your knowledge of the structure of our data and how it can be leveraged
• Contribute to the development of maturation of data engineering process, tools and best practices
• Mentor and be mentored by other engineers
• Actively participate in retrospectives and help drive continuous improvement in our process and culture

You Have:

• 3-5+ years working as a data engineer with a proven record of building data solutions to support internal teams
• Strong knowledge of databases and ETL process modeling
