The Market Access Platform contains hundreds of thousands of time-series related to Statkraft’s asset portfolio and data related to Statkraft’s customers. The data volume has grown ever faster over the last 10 years and there is a strong need to build tools and controls on the data to ensure that all customers receive their data in a timely and accurate fashion; and to run energy management processes effectively.

  • Build tools for tracking data completeness and data quality
  • Support Product Owners by answering data-driven questions about the state of the platform, such as: identifying patterns in master-data and numerical data and flagging outliers
  • Define detailed requirements related to dataflows for business process implementation
  • Improve our operational quality level through development of error detection and monitoring as well as ensuring that the products run seamlessly at all times
  • Collect usage data on the analysis platform to support users in finding accurate data
  • Support the team’s KPI and benchmarking calculations through scripting and automation
  • Work in an agile environment within a strong team of Product owners

Qualifications

  • University degree in engineering, natural sciences or business
  • Hands-on experience in Data Analysis or Data Engineering
  • Experience in Python data analytics (pandas, numpty) is a plus
  • Very strong problem-solving mentality and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Capable of summarizing and explaining data issues and possible solutions to the relevant stakeholders
  • Prior work with data monitoring is a plus
