Job Description

As a Software Application (Python with Amundsen ) Developer at our company, you will:

· Collaborate with other developers.

· Design and implement ETL and Web software applications which utilize the Python and BigData.

· Enhancements and development of ETL framework and data warehouse

· Write a wide variety of unit tests to ensure the code is meeting the software design requirements.

· Ensure the Python code is written to a high standard.

· Refactor old Python and Flask code to ensure it follows modern principles and ways of implementation.

· Liaise with stakeholders to understand the requirements of application.

· Gather metrics; and work to improve the code quality and coverage.

· Ensure both front and back code is operating as expected.

· Write clear and concise documentation of the intention behind code.

· Involved in designing and programming for the system, which includes development of Process Flow Diagram, Entity Relationship Diagram, Data Flow Diagram and Database Design.

· Plan, design, develop, code and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products. Revises and refines systems as required.

Qualifications

·        8-10 years of Experience with Python, Kafka, BigData Ecosystems. 

·        Proficiency at writing Python and the Flask framework.

·        Excellent in Data Modeling, large Data processing and analysis

·        Ability to learn quickly, especially different python libraries

·        Knowledge of how to implement python library benefits for web applications.

·        Communication skills for interacting with your colleagues and stakeholders.

•        Develop large scale ETL process and framework to load of data from several sources to generate analytics for customers.

•        Write complex SQL queries fulfilling then expected functional requirement.
