As the local Head for Data Operations, you will have the opportunity to innovate, develop, and deliver on our global data strategy. Through direct and matrix reports, you will join a team that is leading the charge for how D&B integrates data assets between our owned and partner markets leveraging modern data engineering techniques. You will be responsible for the oversight and daily management of both cross-functional and internal projects that involve designing and building enterprise data for the organization.

As Head of Data Operations, you’ll:

  • Lead a global team of technical experts and strategic program managers to standardize data through the creation of operational excellence in the use of best of breed technology
  • Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis, with a focus on the scalable nature of all processes
  • Build out a global response and support of data incident management for our internal and partner markets to follow
  • Deliver on all strategic and tactical objectives that you help set for our department while collaborating with various global teams to bring the best data products to our customers
  • Grow and develop the members of the team with respect to their personal and professional aspirations, providing critical feedback to coach them along their paths

About You;

  • You will hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, data management or other relevant discipline
  • You will have a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in Data Management with at least 5 years of experience leading a technical and/or data team
  • You have excellent communication, collaborative and relationship building skills.  Relate how you’ve shown judgment when communicating with different levels, backgrounds, and stakeholders within the organization
  • You have a transformation mindset, have a track record of successfully navigating and collaborating within complex matrixed organizations, and having discussions with key stakeholders and senior leadership
  • You have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, where necessary and manage and deal with conflict as it arises
