What You’ll Do

The Memory Solutions Lab (MSL) mission is to develop innovative open system architectures and solutions that transform the performance of semiconductor memory in SSDs, mobile devices and data centers.

Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose headquarters 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time.
Reports to: Director, Software Development Infrastructure Engineering

• Design High Performance video analytics
• Research and implement relevant tools and algorithms required for Computer Vision and video analytics
• Develop machine learning applications according to requirements
• Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods
• Perform data processing, statistical analysis and performance-tuning
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring

• A PhD/Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Architecture, Electrical Engineering, and Mathematics or related field.
• Strong software engineering skills with efficient, maintainable and testable C/C++/Python/R is required.
• Experience with Computer Vision, Video analytics, projects.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Java, C++, Linux, Ruby, PHP, Python, and R.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks like Keras or PyTorch, TensorFlow and libraries like scikit-learn. Working knowledge in Resnet50, Yolov5.
• Knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture
• Experience with Linux, File Systems, Object Storage or similar technologies
• Ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams, including coordinating across organizational boundaries and geographies, comfortable working in a multinational environment and understands how to leverage cultural diversity.
• Ability to quickly develop proof of concept prototypes based on requirements preferred.
• Demonstrated attention to deliver SW project deliverables on schedule preferred.
• Ability to meet aggressive project deadlines in a team environment preferred.
