Senior Backend Engineer, AI

Picsart is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our AI team and help us build and scale our AI Infrastructure. In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop services that will be hit by massive amounts of live traffic. The ideal candidate will be a strong software engineer with experience developing and deploying scalable and reliable microservices. 

• Develop state-of-the-art microservices that serves our AI tools to 150M+ monthly active users
• Work with the Infrastructure team to build CI/CD pipelines
• Work closely with stakeholders PM’s and Researchers to deliver new features
• Mentor and review other engineers. 

• Preferably degree in BS/MA degree in Computer Science or other quantitative 
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development
• Experience in building scalable microservice
• Knowledge of Computer Science, Algorithms, Data Structures, Distributed systems, OOP, OOD
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and logging/monitoring solutions
• Advanced written and verbal English communication skills.
